If heat rejection is not a major concern but still want to protect your interior from some heat, carbon may suit your needs. If you don’t care about keeping heat out of your car or are on a budget and want the beautiful aesthetics of tint, a color-stable dyed film will take care of that.
Absolutely not. Some ceramic films may protect you from heat but their clarity may be sub par. You know a cheap film when there is a milky look to the window, especially when in direct sunlight. If the window tinting is done correctly, it should not impact your visibility while driving during the day. However, it may make it slightly more difficult to see at night, depending on the darkness of your installed tint.
We will not install anything darker than 35% on a windshield. We know we may lose a sale because of this, but it would be irresponsible of any shop to install this on your windshield. Also keep in mind, you may be blamed for an accident if your windshield is too dark, even if it was not technically your fault.
Only use a tint safe ammonia-free window cleaner and a soft cloth on your tints. Failing to do so could damage your film and void your warranty. Never use an abrasive as it may scratch the film.
With proper care, it should last for as long as you own your car! We wouldn’t have a lifetime warrantee if this were not the case.
